Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Grus App ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and shares information when you use our mobile applications and this website (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We do not require you to create an account to use most of our apps. Depending on the app, we may collect:
- Device and usage information — device model, operating system, app version, language, country/region (derived from IP address), crash logs, and how you interact with the app.
- Advertising identifiers — such as the Google Advertising ID or Apple IDFA (only where permitted), used for advertising and measurement.
- Purchase information — if you buy a subscription or in-app item, the app store shares a purchase token and product details with us. We never receive your payment card details.
- Content you choose to process — files, photos or text you open in an app. Unless a feature clearly states otherwise, this content is processed on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
- Information you send us — for example, your email address and message when you contact support.
2. Permissions
Some features need device permissions (for example camera, storage/files, or notifications). We only request a permission when the feature needs it, and you can revoke it at any time in your device settings. Denying a permission only disables the related feature.
3. How we use information
- To provide, maintain and improve the apps and fix bugs and crashes.
- To understand which features are used so we can make them better.
- To show advertisements and measure their performance.
- To process purchases and restore subscriptions.
- To respond to your requests and provide support.
- To prevent fraud and abuse and to comply with legal obligations.
4. Advertising
Our free apps are supported by ads served through Google AdMob and its mediation partners. These providers may collect device identifiers, IP address and ad-interaction data to deliver, personalize and measure ads. Where required by law (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland) we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice from the app's privacy settings. You can also reset or opt out of your advertising ID in your device settings. Our authorized ad sellers are listed in our app-ads.txt file.
5. Third-party services
We use trusted third-party services that process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies, including:
- Google AdMob and mediated ad networks — advertising
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, Cloud Messaging) — analytics, stability and notifications
- Adjust — install attribution and campaign measurement
- Google Play Billing and Apple App Store — payments and subscriptions
6. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only with the service providers listed above, when required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition of our business. Some advertising-related sharing may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under certain US state laws; you can opt out as described in section 9.
7. Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Analytics data is generally retained for no longer than 14 months; support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your request.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or US state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To exercise these rights, email us at contact@grusapp.dev. Uninstalling an app stops all further collection by that app.
10. Children's privacy
Our apps are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
